sd_ecb_block_encrypt hangs

Hi

I have a BLE project on nRF52832 , I use sd_ecb_block_encrypt to encrypt data, it worked fine until latest migration from SDK14 to SDK17

(which involves softDevice transfer from 5.0.0 to 7.0.1) and now the call to sd_ecb_block_encrypt  seems to hang every several calls which make the board reset .

Any idea what could cause this ?

Hello,

When you say "hang", does it mean it takes longer time (it does takes longer time) or that the call always fails (never returns or other error?)?

I have a software reset after that, it never returns.

Does the AES engine takes a significant longer time ?

Can you check if FPU is enabled and/or if there is some easy way to reproduce the issue here?

I am wondering if the problem may be due to this:

The last sentence is: "SoftDevice v7.0.1 includes an alternative workaround which does not support FPU being enabled."

Please disable FPU here and/or you can try to not go to sleep while executing sd_ecb_block_encrypt().
