Automation of scanning and logging

Dear Nordicsemi,

we need automatic simple test of ble  function of our products - scanning bluetooth devices in rage  and reading RSSI  of device with specific mac address and log it. We  have NrF51 (PCA100311.1.0 2019.20 68052024642) with original FW and application nRF connect v3.5.0 bluetooth low energy which works well for manual testing. 

We need to tell the to the NRF connect aplication to start scanning, stop scanning and save log file (with with specified name, if possible).

Could it be be easily automated via some batch file, script, cmd commands, etc... without serious programming under Windows 10? 

If it is possible could you please provide list of commands or some example? 

Or could  you suggest some other  as easy as possible suitable solution/suggestion please?

Hello,

I think our pc-ble-driver-py may be well suited for this as long as you are comfortable with Python. It's available through PyPi so it's quick and easy to install. Pre-compiled connectivity FW for the nRF51 dongle that is compatible with the pc-ble-driver-py release will get placed in the Python3x\Lib\site-packages\pc_ble_driver_py\hex\sd_api_v2\ directory after installation with pip.
