Does S120 support listening on one single channel?

From the question "Advertising on a single channel", the new S110 supports advertising on one single channel. What I want to know is if S120 supports listening on one single channel? If it's not supported, what's the advertising packet loss rate if S110 advertises on single channel and S120 listen on all the three channels? ps: I have tried the Timeslot scanner(with S110 softdevice) , it's able to receive advertising from S110 devices, however, it cannot receive as many advertisings as what s120 can receive, so I believe S120 would be a better solution for scanner.

This is not possible in the S120, the S120 will scan on all channels.

However I think you can achieve this using Timeslot API. An implementation of scanner scanning only on one channel in github project github.com/.../files

this is acheived by mistake and was fixed considering a bug. But you can use that implementation where it is scanning only one channel.

Thanks for the answer. May I ask the packet loss rate if S120 scan on all channels and S110 only broadcast on one channel?

Depends on many things, are there many advertisers around using the same channel? is the device which is scanning having other connections too? theoretically, worst case it could be 66% more packet loss rate compared to when advertising on all three channels.

Thanks for the answer. In my project, the scanner need to work in different environment,that means the number of advertisers is based on environment. I have retried the timeslot code and it's working on single channel now, I will use it for the project.
