HomeKit SDK sharing

I Wonder, 

Because Apple has made HomeKit SDK public open source licensed and what other producers of MCU's followed with theirs SDK. Is it possible to Nordic will do this same? Or maybe prepare some PAL abstraction over apples solution? I't will be super to use Homekit protocol with nordic product's without Apples registration and MIFI procedure.
