Error: 'AT+CFUN?' timed out

Hi,

im new in the nRF9160 DK and im trying to do some basic stuff, like "getting started projects" or "testing a prebuilt application" (->infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp

Currently im doing this stuff: 

• Installing the required software //DONE ! 
  To be able to update the nRF9160 DK firmware and certificates, you must install several apps for nRF Connect for Desktop.
• Updating the DK firmware          //DONE ! 
  To update the nRF9160 DK firmware, you must program the latest version of the application firmware and the modem firmware.
• Creating an nRF Connect for Cloud account        //DONE ! 
  You must sign up with nRF Connect for Cloud before you can start using the service.
• Updating the nRF Connect for Cloud certificate  //I did this one time and also downloaded the certificate but i dont know how long the certificate is avaliable, shall i do this step again ? Or is it something you olny do once ?  
  To establish a connection with nRF Connect for Cloud, you might need to update the security certificate that is stored in the nRF9160 DK. //How can i do that ? 
• Connecting the DK to nRF Connect for Cloud // I installed the nRF Connect v3.5.0 as well as LTE Link Monitor and when im trying to send the command AT+CFUN? i will get an error message => 
  Error: 'AT+CFUN? ' timed out
  Also when im trying to update the certificate there is a error 
  To be able to transmit data from your nRF9160 DK to nRF Connect for Cloud, you must activate your SIM card and add the nRF9160 DK to your nRF Connect for Cloud account.
• Testing the application
  After successfully associating your nRF9160 DK with your nRF Connect for Cloud account, you can start testing it.

Summary: 

There are some problems in updating the certificate and getting startet, if you could give me some beginning tips i would be very happy !

Good to see you are well on your way in testing our nRF9160 DK. 

Updating the DK firmware          //DONE ! 

 What application did you program your DK with? Have you updated both application and modem fw?

Updating the nRF Connect for Cloud certificate  //I did this one time and also downloaded the certificate but i dont know how long the certificate is avaliable, shall i do this step again ? Or is it something you olny do once ?  

 Did you follow both steps in this link? Did you receive the log message "Certificate update completed" which indicates that the certificate was provisioned successfully?

Also when im trying to update the certificate there is a error 

 What error did you receive when trying to update the certificate? 


It will best to provide a full output from LTE Link Monitor, which you can get from clicking the "Open log file" button
