FCC testing and direct test mode on NRF52832

We are in the process of FCC testing for a product including an NRF52832.

The labs requirement are that the part transmit continuously on a low,
mid range, and high Bluetooth LE frequence through the antenna
and through an SMA connector.

I wanted to confirm that the direct test mode application in the Nordic 17.02

SDK is good for this. Our product is using an earlier version of the SDK.

I saw references previously to a program called radio_test, has this been
replaced in the SDK

Hi,

 

Yes, DTM can  be used for this, you can control the DUT using nRF Connect through UART. You can also use the radio test example, also in the SDK.

 

Either way, DTM or radio test example does not need to be the same version as your main application.
