What 9 DOF IMU is the easiest to implement with NRF52832?

Hi!

I am kind of DIY person and have a lots of time in COVID, I am a beginner to Nordic family, few months ago I implemented MPU9250 with NRF52832, I was able achieve data from accelerometer and gyroscope in SEGGER (without DPU), but I could not make magnetometer to work. Now since I am not able to buy MPU9250 anywhere I need to migrate project to another IMU. 

So that's why I am asking kindly, what kind of 9 DOF IMU would you recommend to use with NRF52832? (or maybe another NRF?)

I was reading about ICM-20948 which looks like a next version of MPU9250, but I try to learn from my mistakes, and first ask you All what kind of IMU would you recommend, and it would not be to hard to implement. I need only to make work sending data from accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer through BLE to another NRF.

Hi Philip

I would suggest one of the IMUs that we already have external drivers for in the SDK (\...\<SDK_FOLDER>\nRF5_SDK_17.0.2_d674dde\components\drivers_ext\), for simplicity's sake during the development process. The MPU6050 for instance, is already implemented in our SDK, and would match what you're looking for I think.
