Limiting inrush current

Hi,

On our board, we have a nRF5340 + nRF9160 that turn on as soon as power is provided to the board.

We would like to reduce the inrush current drawn by these components.

First, do you have some numbers about the average inrush current of these components?

What can I do on my board to reduce them?

Hi, the nRF5340 and nRF9160 are not producing any significant inrush current, other than the CPUs running startup code, which is in the 3-5mA range. What you are seeing is probably the decoupling capacitors being charged?

Hi, That could be the capacitors indeed. Just wanted to know what was the proportion of the inrush current coming from the cores.
