What are the first steps to do for a little application ?

Hi, 

i would like to know, which really basic stuff i have to know about the nRF9160 DK so that i can easily create my first project. The project should be able to send a very simple integer number like 42 ... to a server or cloud. 

Where do i find the necesarry literatur and other basic stuff for my very first project. Im new to this whole topic !

Please see my initial reply to your previous ticket, referencing the Getting started with the nRF9160 DK guide. In the Developing your own application section, you will find a link to the nRF Connect Tutorial series in which you will be shown how to create a Hello World project.
From there, you could then move on to have a look at the AT Client example from the SDK, like suggested by the Getting started with the nRF9160 DK guide.
