Static analyzer that works with nRF5 SDK

I wanted to know if there any any static analyzers that work well with the nRF5 SDK.

I was thinking about adding a static analysis (e.g pc-lint) check to our code base and I wanted to know if there is any static analyzer that is know to work well with the nRF5 SDK.

If Nordic Semi uses a static analysis tool that they ensure runs cleanly with every release (e.g. it is supported and maintained) that would be the ideal choice.

I haven't tried anything out yet, I wanted to get an idea what is the best approach.

If you do a tree-wide search for "/*lint" - you will see pc-lint syntax in our nRF5 SDK sources and headers.

Unfortunately, this is tightly coupled with our internal test setup and we do not expose such configuration in the SDK.
