How to convert "NRF_RTC1->COUNTER" any other timer values in terms of usec resolution

Hi Team,

One of our requirement is to measure the crypto functionalities timing like how much time it is taking for digital signature signing and verification. Is there any way to measure by using any timer registers like RTC1 or any other timers.

So that by using that Register values we will measure the timing of each function associated with each library, so that we will use the library which is going to take less time compared to other libraries.

I recommend using one of the TIMER peripherials.

The RTC runs at most (prescaler zero) with 32768 Hz, which might lack resolution for short functions.

The TIMERs run at 16 MHz. And you could just divide by 16 with the prescaler in order to get a direct µs value.

I recommend to not use the drivers (nrf_drv, nrfx_drv) and instead use the timer registers directly (e.g. via macros).
