How to send 10 bytes of data in BLE mesh

Hi Team,

I would like to send 10 bytes of data in mesh from one device to another device. As i know that we can send data from one device to another device and the packet size is 15bytes maximum. But here i want to send 10 bytes only, But i don't know what application do i need to go through.

So can you please let me know that, what are the application we have in mesh so that i can able to understand and send 10 bytes of data from one device to another device.

Can you please help me out.

Hi,

You need to define your own mesh model, for transferring your custom data. I suggest that you have a look at the Creating new models section of the nRF5 SDK for Mesh documentation, as well as use the thorough descriptions of the Simple OnOff model as reference. You can start with an existing model (such as the simple onoff model).
