How to flash light switch server example to dongle nrf52840

I am using nrf sdk nRF5_SDK_16.0.0_98a08e2 and nrf sdk for mesh nrf5_SDK_for_Mesh_v4.2.0_src

how to flash the light switch server example to nrf52840 dongle and made changes in preprocessor definitions for pc1a0059

i tried flashing it green didn't start blinking and advertising not happened please provide solution to this ...

 how to identify whether our application is merged with soft device or not

Hi. 

I'm sorry about the delay here. 

The Mesh examples will need some adjustsments in order to work with the nRF52840 dongle. 
You can take a look at the nRF52840 dongle programming guide to get some more information.
