nRF52832: Current spikes (40uA @ 42Hz)

Hi, I'm investigating the current consumption of a new product that we are developing and have found

current spikes of 40mA every 24ms. The spikes occurs in unconnected mode and 'storage mode'.

Could anyone explain this behaviour?
