High power consumption

Hi,

I'm using a nrf52833 in may application.

I have 2 Identical units with bare nrf52833.

refer the unit as normal ad defective.

test a.

while flash a simple FW that only define  gpio 0.21  as output and toggling it (used simple blinky as base).

I get higher power consumption on the defective unit.

test b. 

flash simple freeRTOS FW that only define  gpio 0.21  as output and toggling it. (used blinky freertos as base)

after setting the gpio 0.21   my power consumption is climbing and never go down in the defective unit while the normal unit the power consumption is stabilizing to the low.

not observable manufacturing issues  between the units (out of 25 units, 9 have this issue)

How "bare" are these nRF52833 boards? Can you provide schematics and PCB layout (preferably in Gerber files) of your board so we can take a look? If you'd like I can set this case to Private mode, which will only allow yourself and engineers here at Nordic to be able to see its contents, and the case will be treated with confidentiality.

What current consumption exactly do you see on the normal versus the defective units?
