Problem to reset nRF52840 dongle (PCB ver 1.2.0)

Hi,

Recently, I purchase another nRF52840 dongle. I realised the dongle PCB was revised to 1.2.0.

Previously, I had another dongle myself that was based on PCB ver 1.0.0. 

What I observe was there was a slight difference between the 2. When I applied the nrfutil utility to flash in my firmware to the nRF52840 ver 1.0.0, it resets itself automatically. However, this is not the case for ver 1.2.0.

I need the board to be able to reset itself automatically. 

I wonder if anyone knows what went wrong in ver 1.2.0. I can see an addtional R7 resistor.

Hi Cyril, 
Could you let me know the script you used with nrfutil to flash the firmware on nRF52840 dongle ? 
When you mentioned that the board v1.2 didn't reset itself, what you needed to do to reset it ? 

Could you try to use nRF Connect programmer to program the board instead of using nrfutil ? 

In theory, when the bootloader swap the image it will bootup the application after swapping.
