Doesn't reach main nrf52810

Hi

NRF52810

SDK 17
SoftDevice S112 V7.0.1

We have migrate to nRF5_SDK_17.0.0 from nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_59ac345

Central on chip nrf52832 has migrated successfully

Peripheral on chip NRF52810 has problem.

debugger writes:

void SystemInit(void) is executed.

Hardfault exception has appeared after that.

main() is not reached.

what can i do wrong?

Hi,

Please make sure you're using system_nrf52810.c and not system_nrf52.c in your project. This hardfault may occur if you try to access the FPU HW which the 52810 doesn't have.

Problem was in using micro_ecc_lib_hrf52.a

It is now changed to micro_ecc_lib_nrf52.a

I have not suggest that library (with using FPU) has effect to initialisation process before main.

Issue is solved.

Thanks for the update. I tried the same here now, and seems like IAR automatically calls a function named __iar_init_vfp in the startup code if you include a library compiled with HW FPU float support. And this function includes FPU instructions, so I guess that explains the hardfault.
