individual Pinreset time

Hi

Is there a possibility to have an individual pinreset time? In my product the default reset time from 20ms is not enough.

• Can you extend the command with a time parameter?
• Is there some where the source available from the nrfjprog where I can change the reset time by myself?
• Or do you have another idea how I can perform a pinreset for 100ms?

Hi,

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The reset will be executed once the RESET pin is asserted, and the time it takes for a RESET operation to complete is not configurable. Could you elaborate a bit more on your reset time requirement? Maybe there is an alternative solution.

So you are not using the Segger JLink lib in the background (there it should theoretically be possible to define a reset time)? So if you know any other possibility to control the reset pin from a SeggerDebugger which is callable in a batch File line, that would also help me a lot.

Hi,

We do, but AFAIK the Segger J-link does not execute a pin reset but rather a soft reset through the use of CTRL-AP. The Segger Commander has a commando for executing a reset with delay but note that this is most probably a soft reset, not a pin reset.

Thanks to Segger Support I found the right info pages. It is possible to do with the JLink.exe an individual pinreset with the "exec SetResetPulseLen = 100" command.
