do we need the 64MHz for twi sensor and adc

Hello ,

I am interfacing the customized board nrf52832 , As of now we didn't populated the 32 MHz externally . so  I am trying to program the peripheral alone. Twi sensor and saadc example . My question is do we need 32MHz external also  to work the peripheral examples or else do i want to change anything in code

please suggest something

Hi,

 

The radio requires the external 32 MHz crystal.

Other peripherals can be sourced using the internal 64 MHz RC oscillator (here's the section in the PS), so as long as you do not use the radio, it should work.

 

Do note that since the RC oscillator is inaccurate; this is also reflected in the bus clock outputs. For things like UART, this can with temperature changes, make the communication unstable.
