Which notebook is able to connect a large amount of nRF52 DK via USB?

This is a bit of a weird question, but I thought maybe I could get a few useful inputs here.

I'm working on a mesh-like project where we need to facilitate communication between numerous nRF52 devices. For development I use nRF52 DKs. Unfortunately my current development-notebook is for some reason unable to support more than 5 nRF52 DKs connected. As soon as I plug in a sixth device, either the new device will not be recognised or one of the previously connected devices will be thrown out.

I currently develop with a third generation MacBook Pro, late 2013 i think, running Windows 10 and use an Icy Box ib-ac6703 10-port powered USB hub.

Since I need to replace this device anyway, I'm looking for notebooks that are able to support a larger amount of nRF52 DKs.

Do you have any suggestions for devices or specific features (USB Chipset?) that a notebook needs to be able to support a large number of USB devices, specifically nRF52 DKs?
