Issues on connecting Thingy52 to the latest NodeJS (32-bit) on Raspberry Pi

Hi,

We have bought a few Nordic Thingy52 and used in our lab teaching for a few years now. Since the last year, we noticed that we have to downgrade NodeJS version in order to connect Thingy52 to a Raspberry Pi via bluetooth. This year, the students have problems to downgrade Nodejs as the latest version for all packages are automatically updated. We wonder whether your company can provide any techinical support to develop/upgrade a NodeJS package that works with the latest version of NodeJS for Thingy52? As I know, the product is still for sale.

  • Hei,

can you share more details about your setup?

    1. Which Hardware revision of the Thingy:52 are you using?
    2. Which Firmware revision of the Thingy:52 are you using?
    3. Which Raspberry Pi version are you using?
    4. Which operating system is running on the PIs?
    5. Can you share the source code of the Node.js app operating as the central?

With that information I can try to reproduce the issue, and see if it can be fixed.
