I'm trying to erase and/or flash the nrf52 dev kit and it's always failed with following logs

I used to flash them successfully before in Catalina, but now it's not working in new Big Sur.

Hello,

I did not manage to replicate this error on my Mac. I have upgraded to Big Sur, and I'm also using the same jlink and nrfjprog version as shown in your log. Do you have happen to have another 52DK or PC you can test this with to see if you get the same result? Also, if you could try to run nrfjprog --recover and see if you get the same error.

I found that I had to power the dev kit on in addition to connecting the jlink to be able to flash successfully. Thanks for your help anyway
