Battery and power management for NRF52840

Hello,

I want to develop a new IOT product using the NRF52840. My device will be using the MCU with BLE and a very low power sensor.

I want to use a 3.7V one cell battery.

I want to know if I need any kind of PMIC or regulator to plug the battery and also how do I charge the battery if I don't use a PMIC.

Could you also give the consumption for the chip in normal use.

Hey Baptiste,

The nRF52840 can operate at 1.7v-5.5V so there's no problem in using a li-ion battery directly, but there's no built-in battery charger.
