nRF5340-PDK deprecated by nRF5340-DK?

I noticed on Zephyr docs this:

nRF5340 PDK (preview development kit) is an earlier version of the nRF5340 DK. nRF5340 PDK board is deprecated and is replaced by nRF5340 DK. The support for nRF5340 PDK will be removed in Zephyr v2.6.0 release.

I also noticed that nRF5340-PDK has become absent from DigiKey. nRF5340-DK doesn't seem to be available anywhere or even mentioned on Nordic site.

Is the information on Zephyr correct? If so, a changelog and schedule would be much appreciated.

Hi

Yes, the PDK will naturally be deprecated when the official DK is released. A changelog will be released as part of the Development Kit documentation on Infocenter. The latest released master branch of NCS also specifies that v1.4.x is the last NCS release with support for the nRF5340 PDK.
