nrf52840 DK configuration

Hello everyone, The last few days I was advised to buy the nrf52840 DK. Up to now I have worked with the dongle. I read online the need to download the j-link software. Where can I download it? What is it for? So far I have used the SEGGER EMBEDDED STUDIO and the nRF connect software to program the dongle. How can I go about programming the NRF52840 dk? Can I do it directly from the SEGGER EMBEDDED STUDIO?

Yes.

And installing SES will also install all the necessary J-Link support.

Yes, you can program the nRF52840 DK with SES, as awneil already stated.

As you're new to the DK, I would recommend taking a look at this page about getting started with nRF5 SDK and SES, as well as this page about setting up the toolchain.
