Hi, 

The ANCS Application might meet your requirement, but ANCS is a service natively provided by iOS. So iOS is the ANCS server. It doesn't need an application (APP) on iOS to run. If you want to run something like that on Android you would have to create a custom app that implements an ANCS or a similar GATT server. See this post. 

Do you play around with the Apple Notification Center Service (ANCS) Client Application or HID Keyboard Application? Not sure I understand the question correctly. Could you elaborate on the questions regarding these two examples?
