Use flash function of nRF 9160

Hello,

I want to know how to set nRF9160 and use its flash. My code is to generate some data and I want to store the data in the flash. How can I set it? 

And then I want to read the data from flash, what tools I should use? From Jlink or putty?

Zephyr has exactly what you need which is called Non-Volatile Storage (NVS). The nvs sample is located in ncs\zephyr\samples\subsys\nvs.
