PCA10056 MSC example reporting Unknow USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) in windows

Hello Nordic

Im having issues getting logs out of the MSC storage example on SDK16.

When connecting nRF USB connector on the PCA10056 connector to my Windows 10 computer I get following error on Device Manager:

Unknow USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

I Can see from the debugger, that it detects USB power, but nothing else happens on debugger

  • Hi Kenneth

Sorry for the Late reply, I have been busy on other project. But have now purcased a nRF52840-DK without preview on. It seems to work, and im able to enumerate USB Drives on this.

The issue is when im running the exact same software my own board configured with a nRF52840 chip and the D+, D- and USB powerpins and ground are connected directly to the chip I get "Unknow USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)"

I can see that the firmware, detects a USB is connected to the device

Do I need to had HW filters, to get it to work ?

Do you have some HW designnotes ?

    Best Regards
