Radio_Test Example

Hi, Hope you are well, 

I want to test my radio function using the radio_test example but Keil gives this error: 

error: L6047U: The size of this image (38900 bytes) exceeds the maximum allowed for this version of the linker.

I am using the SDK17 for NRF52832. what is the problem ?

Hi,

This is because the code size exceeds the limit of the free version of Keil, which is 32kB. If you want to keep using Keil you must buy a license in order to compile projects that are larger than 32 kB.

I would recommend using SES (Segger Embedded Studio) instead, where you can get a free license for both commercial and non-commercial purposes when using Nordic devices. You can get the license here. You can also check out this page about getting started with nRF5 SDK and SES.
