What is the easiest way to flash on nRF52* older .hex files?

I have older files that were compiled and working fine with the older versions of SES, SDK and now I’m trying to figure why they don’t work with the latest version, that is why I want to flash older hex files for the app and softdevises on nRF  and see what were the log messages from there and what are now, but cant find any manual or posting how to do it, what tools to use and what settings for memory addresses etc.

I guess such question was answered and from before, but unfortunately, I cant find it

Hi, 

You can use nRF Connect Programmer to flash or nRF Command Line Tools/ Programming SoCs with nrfjprog.

is there any instructions, help etc. for this programmer beside the mute video on the git?

At most interested: if there are more than one chunk of .hexs - bootloader, softdevice, app, etc. does I need to follow some order, set some memory addresses etc. or the application is smart enough and foolproof to figure everything itself?

Hi, 

You can add more than one hex in the nRF Connect Programmer to flash as you desire (bootloader, softdevice, app, etc.). Those images should include the start address while compiling. If you add those image files, the nRF Connect Programmer can show the file memory layout.
