bootloader not working in NRF52810 SDK17

Hi,

I have a custom NRF52810 board in which i flashed modified code of low power ESB example and is working.

but when I flashed along with the bootloader, the application is not started. it is hanging in bootloader code.

I am using SDK 17.0.0.

What is the application after the bootloader jump for?

Do you generate a bootloader setting manually and merge it with the bootloader to trick the bootloader to accept the pre-flashed application?  See this tutorial getting-started-with-nordics-secure-dfu-bootloader. 

You have to download nRF-Command-Line-Tools to generate bootloader_setting and merge the image. 

I usually do like this:

mergehex -m softdevice.hex bootloader.hex -o merged_SD_bootloader.hex
nrfjprog --program merged_SD_bootloader.hex --chiperase

nrfutil settings generate --family NRF52810 --application app.hex --application-version 1 --bootloader-version 1 --bl-settings-version 1 settings.hex
mergehex -m hrs_app.hex settings.hex -o merged.hex
nrfjprog --program merged.hex --sectorerase -r

When you generate the bootloader setting, you should use --family NRF52810 for nRF52810.

1. Yes. I have done. And I know the procedure as same app developed in SDK 14 and is working. But I am unable to do the same with SDK 17

Sorry for the delay. 

Could you use a debug bootloader project (ends with _debug) and provide the RTT log? That typically gives a good understanding on what the problem is. I am not sure if the debug  bootloader fits your situation on the 810 though, at least it would leave very little room for the app.

Could you also specify in detail every step you have made? What commands you use?

I solved the problem. it is because the example I have taken to test (esb_ptx_low_pwr) using GPRERET2 along with DFU bug makes it always in DFU mode.
