regarding zephyr

hello i am using sdk 16 with nrf52832 i am thinking of using zephyr with nrf52832 and have no idea what is zephyr and uses of zephyr other than that it is testing tool 

1)can any one tell me how can i use zephyr with nrf5282?

2)also real time uses of zephyr

Hi, Manikandan!

Zephyr is a Real Time Operating System (RTOS) for embedded devices. Nordic has built the nRF Connect SDK (NCS) on the Zephyr platform and we support all our newer chips, including the nRF52832. I suggest that you read up on the nRF Connect SDK documentation to get started. 

1. Check out the getting started guide for nRF52 devices on the NCS platform.

2. As mentioned Zephyr is an RTOS, meaning that you have access to a lot of different functionality related to real-time operation. This includes threads, semaphores, fifos and so on.
