BLE - error 5

HI,

I'm using Nrf52840 device and connecting my mobile.

After inserting the authentication code for the pairing process.. phone connects successfully and after a few seconds it throws error which says: phone has lost bonding information, error code 5 So far this error is happening only on Samsung devices.

Where, exactly, do you see that error?

it = mobile phone (Samsung type).

We see the error from the phone BLE manager GATT_INSUFFICIANT_AUTHENTICATION

The error happen on Android 8 devices. API lower then 29

Can you check if you are sending a security request upon connection from the peripheral to the phone? I have seen reports that some Android phones may lose bonding information because of this.

For instance you may try to comment out pm_handler_on_pm_evt() in main.c
