how to set uuid for custom profile

Hi,

I have created a custom BLE profile with four primary GATT services and each one includes a attribute which are not in bluetooth SIG adopted uuid's list. So please tell me how to set the uuid's for custom attributes with some simple example. Do we need any calculation while transmitting and accepting the custom uuid's from server to client? If possible provide me the exact link which describes the same.

In nAN-36 in 2.2.2.1 there is written: "The UUID contains information on the type of data within the attribute..." Is this information correct? I can determine the type of the attributes data only by looking at the "Univeral Unique ID"? Campter "2.2.4 UUIDs" doesn't explain that further.
