Light_Lightness example on nRF52 Development Kit

Hi, 

      I am trying to test the light_lightness example present in 'nrf5_SDK_for_Mesh_v5.0.0_src' , on nRF52 Development kit(pca10040). And i am provisioning the device using nRF Mesh mobile app. I want to know what is the purpose of light_lightness example and how to test its actual functionality from the nRF mesh app? Please specify the steps if possible.

The Light_lightness example implemented the light lightness model as it's defined in the spec here.

You can read here how to test the example. 

The nRF Mesh mobile app is just the demonstration of a PB-GATT provisioner that you can develop on the phone. It's not officially the tool to test the mesh network. So not all the mesh models are implemented on the app.
