How to interface PCIe modem with nRF52840?

I am creating a BLE central device. This device has to communicate with BLE advertisers to collect some data from them and then send this data to server. I am currently achieving this by using ESP32 WiFi module, but i want to shift from WiFi to LTE. I can get one LTE module in market which is suitable for my requirements.

However that module is PCIe interface module. So my question is.

1. Is it possible to interface PCIe modules with nRF52?

2. Are there any LTE modules which can be interfaced with nRF52?

 That depends on your module. Note that you will most likely need external antennas as putting a pcb antenna inside of a computer is a very bad idea.

The nRF9160 is an excellent choice, it's DK has an nRF52840 on it as well.

Hi

I want to use this central outside and not connected to computer. Also nRF9160 is not suitable for my requirement.

So i want to understand feasibility of interfacing PCIe LTE modem with nRF52.

The nRF52 series has UART, SPI, TWI serial interfaces. As well as GPIOs and an SWD debug interface.
