nrf91 UARTE clock source

Hi

There are already several questions regarding UART clock source, e.g. that one for nrf52 where it is stated that the peripherial always take the 16 MHz clock.

Is this also true for nrf91? Is the UARTE clock on nrf91 not configurable to a different clock? This would allow more baudrates which would be beneficial especially at high baudrates.The product specification v2.0 does not state the used clock source.

Hi Matthias

The UART in the nRF91 works in a similar way to that of the nRF52. It uses the same 16MHz peripheral used by most of the peripherals, and there is no way to override this and use a different clock.
