nrf8001 different datecodes not working

Hello,

i have an urgent problem that i need help.

I have designed a board using nrf8001 IC and manufacture 5 samples. They are working perfectly.

Then i went to production using my supplier from China, i manufactured 500pcs and none of them are working, i get nothing, advertising not started, nothing at all.

The only difference i can see is that the working pieces have a later datecode, nrf8001 D 1347 and there are working.

The other have a mark of nrf8001 D 1231 that means they are from 2012 old stock or something.

Is it possible to have something different in the commands they support and not working at all?

Any idea of what to test or where to look at will be grateful apreciated, i am desperate.

i have noticed that on power on and after chip reset the RDYN line doesn't change, it should go LOW

any ideas?

If i replace the chip with a newer datecode it just works.
