nRF9160 GPS power consumption (data sheet)

Hello,

Question regarding GPS power consumption numbers in the nRF9160 data sheet (V2.0)

• Section 5.2.1.16 GPS Current Consumption:
  • Are the current consumption numbers "open sky" or "instrument environment"?
  • Passive Antenna or Active antenna?

Hi, Patrick!

I got back from the developers that the tests were done with a passive antenna in a lab envrionment emulating open sky. The latter means the conditions were similar to an open sky environment.

Just to clarify,  no LNA was placed between the passive antenna and the nRF9160 for numbers in the data sheet?
