Can the nRF52840 Dongle, as a sniffer, follow new or pre-existing Bluetooth Low Energy connections?

I am looking for a Bluetooth sniffer to replace the Ubertooth-One that I am currently using. Ubertooth-One has a function that allows it to follow the connection of two Bluetooth devices (i.e the packets sent between a smartphone and a fitness tracker).

I would like to know if any of the nRF Development Kits, dongles or likewise have this functionality as well. Currently, I am looking at the nRF52840 Dongle, but I don't see any information about this specific question on previous threads or on any review sites online.

That being said, any help would be very much appreciated.

The nRF Sniffer for BLE is supported on several development kits and dongles. You can see how to install and use it, as well as which kits and dongles are supported here.
