nRF Connect SDK IoT examples for nRF52 devices

I am trying to implement some examples of 6lowpan with nRF52 devices (either nRF52832 or nRF52840). I understand that the IoT applications has been discontinued from nRF5_SDK 17 and they are supported in nRF Connect SDK. I have installed nRF Connect SDK version 1.4.1 but couldn't find any samples. Are there any samples for 6lowpan application in this release? I need to monitor a BLE device over the internet, I think 6lowpan is the simplest solution for this.

Have a look at our Thread solution. " It is an IPv6-based standard that uses 6LoWPAN technology over the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol"

Thanks for the reply, but I wish to avoid Thread, I like to connect internet with a BLE enabled router device (instead of a Thread border router) as shown here

Is there any equivalent in nRF Connect SDK?

In the nRF Connect SDK the only supported protocol is Thread or Zigbee, from what I can see. The BLE Enabled Router Device is the same as the Thread Border Router, both based on a Raspberry Pi 3. 

If this not sufficient, then I suggest looking at the nRF9160 and the Connectivity Bridge or e.g. the Sensor Gateway Sample. The latter is designed for Thingy:52.
