AVR Programmer with NRF51822

Hey there,

Instead of using a J-Link programmer to program the NRF51822, is there a way to use a AVR Programmer to do this instead?

  • As @awneil suggest in his comment a good solution is to use the nRF51 DK. The kit discussed in the thread is an old kit which we don't recommend for new designs. The nRF51 DK are available at these online stores. It is very easy to debug/program external boards with the DK as it is pretty much plug-and-play. As a bonus you get a very versatile nRF51 development kit. Just keep in mind that the only voltage supported by external debugging/programming is 3.0 V.
