ERROR CODE 40412

I have a problem when activating the simcard via nrf connect. |

After several attempts, using the IMEI and PIN on the Thingy 91 product, i get the following error.

(There was an error adding your device: No device found for this id. The device has not yet been provisioned. Troubleshoot nRF Code 40412)

One of the tips there are to folloe stepst i error code 40411, leading me to request your help.

Do you have any solutions for this error message?

The device has not yet been provisioned.

What is the color of the thing91 LED? Do you insert the sim card on the Thingy 91? Check the LED status indicators to ensure the device indicates it was provisioned. See this video.

Hi.

The color of the thingy i Orange.
When turning on after inserting the sim, the LED flashes blue until it stops after a while.

The error message comes after input the pin and thingy and IMEI number.

The LED should be yellow when the device is ready to be added to your account.

This means that it was still trying to connect to the LTE-M or NB-IoT network.

What SIM card are you using?

Are there LTE-M or NB-IoT coverage where you are?

Does your SIM card and subscription support your local LTE-M or NB-IoT network?

Is the application configured to use LTE-M or NB-IoT to suit your local network and SIM card?

Can you connect the Thingy:91 to nRF Connect LTE Link Monitor on a computer, and send me the log it prints?

Ok. I am using a Telenor  SIM card.
I am located in Ålesund, Norway. It should be both LTE-M and NB-IoT.
I loaded the LTEM Hex, thereby configured for LTMM i hope.

Could you try the iBasis sim card which comes with the thingy 91? Not sure it related to this case or not.

Activate the iBasis SIM on nrf Cloud as the video, then register the device with pin and thingy and IMEI number after the led on thingy 91 turns to yellow. If you still have the issue, Can you please try to run the command "AT+CFUN?" as the tutorial and give me the output from LTE Link Monitor (please press the button in the red mark area)?

I am using the SIM card provided with the Thingy 91.

Using the commang AT+CFUN, i recieve the following error: +CME ERROR.

Hi Espen, 

Please update MFW to v1.2.1. and application asset_tracker_fotav2.zip. Then, activate the iBasis SIM on nRF Cloud as the video. After the led on thingy 91 turns to yellow, register the device with pin and thingy and IMEI number.

If you still have the issue, please run the command "AT+CFUN?" as the tutorial and provide the output from LTE Link Monitor. Thanks.

It seems that the problem is the LTE connection. It is failing to establish connection.

Do you activate the iBasis SIM on nRF Cloud?

No. There was only a Telenor SIM CARD supplied with the Thingy91.
