Hi!
Looking at the product specifications V1.1 specifically 5.2.1 Electrical specification, one can see that on Sleep System On, full ram retention wake up on GPIOTE Port event, the system draws 2.36 uA typical.
A bit further down, 5.2.1.10 WDT active, one can see that the WDT draws 3.1 uA.
1. Is that 3.1uA on top of the 2.36uA the system draws? That seems like a lot.
2. Is there a way to reduce this current draw but still retain the use of the WDT? I am willing to compromise on how fast a device reboots because of the WDT inactivity. A few minutes is not out of the question as far as I'm concerned.
3. Should I choose not to use the watch dog, is there a different solution to detect and reboot on stalls, that is not dependent on an external hardware? (doubt it, but worth a shot).
Thanks!
