Could I modify bluetooth mesh net packet?

Hi,

I'm use nrf52840 with Light switch example of nRF5 SDK for Mesh v5.0.0. Could I modify the packet of network layer ?

I want to add 2 bytes of UUID in the packet of network layer  when it relay , because I want to know the route of packet.

Hi,

Unfortunately, you can't modify packet on the network layer. But Bluetooth Mesh implements a Health server model as a root model so by utilizing that you can monitor message delivery across the mesh network. I can read more about this in the Bluetooth Mesh Specification.
