asset tracker with udp

Hello,

I try to use the ASSET_TRACKER application with NB-IoT/ Vodafone in Netherland. Vodafone uses UDP/IP datagrams protocol. is it possible to modify the asset-tracker to be compatible with the Vodafone provider?

Hi,

The asset tracker application uses MQTT to communicate with nRF Cloud, which is a protocol that runs over TCP. nRF Cloud is built upon AWS server, which does not support CoAP yet, which uses UDP. So I'm afraid you won't be able to use the asset tracker application with UDP, as you need to use MQTT to communicate.
