Open Thread - Minimize Network optimization / communication

Hi,

I am using nrf52840 with S140 Soft device and SDK for Thread v4.1.

In our test setup we got around 50 FTD devices in the same network.
In some time interval we need to send multicast messages(ff03::1) to all devices reliable and with the smallest delay.
Unfortunately, the network occasionally swaps routers and their children in order to optimize itself. I think the reason is that many devices are close to each other.
When this happens messages get lost.

Is it possible to minimize or prevent network changes for a specific time?

Hi,

The Network was unstable. This was caused by an ble connection with the thread Master. I changed the slot interval to too short times, so the Master could not maintain the network and a second Master was announced.
