BLE scanner losing advertisings

Hello,

i have one nrf52840 board with a coded phy scanner and another sending advertisings, when it are close , i received in the scanner 100% of Advertisings, but when i separated it 20 meters in a straigh line, without obstacles i only received less than 10% of the advertisings. Is it that normal? it is posible to improve that rate?

Hi.

Hard to say what is normal and not here. It would depend on the environment. Are there a lot of noise from other radio sources, obstacles etc?

You mention that you have a CODED PHY scanner. Are the advertising device using CODED PHY?
