nRF5340 Socket

Hi all

I'm in search of a PCB-Socket for the nRF5340 with the QFN-94 Footprint. Something like a Clamshell-Socket which can be soldered or screwed the PCB and lets you switch Chips fast for verification puposes. Do you guys know any products which sound suitable for my issue?

Sockets for QFN are really not practical.

If you really need to be able to switch chips, a carrier PCB is probably your best bet; eg,

I recall seeing www.waveshare.com/.../sockets.htm but have no experience with them, plus they only seem to go up to QFN-68

I would like to have a Socket like this: https://plastronics.com/catalog/h-pin-qfn-clamshell/

With which i can use one PCB (with the socket on it) to program chips or do verification of code of someone else. A socket like this makes it possible to test any chip that might be sent to me from another engineer so i can debug any errors.

But sockets like this, especially for the nRF53s footprint are hard to find. Maybe i need have one custom made for me.

 This is probably the only solution if you absolutely need a socket.

If not then a carrier PCB like what Andrew recommended might be equally as good of a solution.
