nRFgo not program softdevice

I am trying to download the softdevice to the nRF52840 development kit using the nRFgo but: 

1. On nFRgo I didn’t found the “Program softDevice tab”

2. Although the kit is connected, and the Segger number is detected , I get no device not detect message.

 

 

Please advise?

Hi, 

The nRFGO studio is deprecated. Please try with the nRF Connect Programmer.

ok, but when I add the softdevice hex file, did I need to add it on specific location on the memory?

No. You can add the SD image to the File Memory Layout graphic, and it will show you its location.

I download the SD and now the example (ble_app_blinky_pca10056_s140 - nrf52840_xxaa) is compiled and run.

now, I want to test it and connect it using the nRF connect. which APPS on the nRF I need to use?

I open the nRF bluetooth low energy, but scan option is disabled

(and I have bluetooth module on my laptop)
